Wi-Finity, Inc is a State of Maryland Corporation that was founded in April 2009. Wi-Finity is MBE and WBE business and is 100% owned and operated by Binny Potter who is an Asian Indian woman.

With a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Minors Applied Math/Communication Theory and a M.S. Degree in Telecommunications, Binny Potter has foundational learning in technology and communications. She has worked over 35 years in telecommunications, with her expertise expanding over multiple technologies including, satellite, wireless and broadband deployments. Her range of experience spans across various disciplines including Engineering, Information Technology, Construction, Lease/Site Acquisition, Installation and Integration. Throughout her career, Binny has been immersed in fast paced deployment projects managing large internal and external teams. Her employers and clients reflect her diverse telecommunications skill set. These include national companies -NASA, Comsat, ATT, T-Mobile, Windstream, KGP, Bechtel and International Companies – Digicel, Belize Telemedia and CCT Wireless. Her engagements include roles from front-line level Design Engineer to executive level VP and Director. This exposure at all levels of management, provides a unique perspective to find end to end solutions that support organizations and not just specific users.

Binny Potter is an accomplished and forward-thinking business technology and operations executive with a proven track record of implementing large-scale, complex, innovative, and rapid network deployments (wired and wireless). While recognized for her dynamic abilities in engineering and operations management, program and project management, site acquisition and development, her true forte is her solutions oriented approach to process improvement

Ruby Kapil has over 40 years of expertise in bringing people, processes, and technology together. Having honed her skills working in a number of diverse leadership and technology roles, Ruby has focussed the past 10 years on addressing the unique needs of the telecom and power industries. Projects include FTTH, Small Cell, 4G, LTE, ETTS, Generators and Rooftop Leasing. She is an expert at analyzing specialized needs of each functional area within an organization and translating this into processes; and then developing customized technology tools to manage data and the entire project life cycle. She also serves in leadership roles to manage projects and site acquisition teams. With an eye for detail and drive for constant improvement, Ruby ensures products and services are thoroughly assessed for quality and accuracy and delivered on time.

John Potter is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University. He has a degree in Electrical Engineering. John is truly a pioneer in the wireless industry, spending over 30 years working in this field. John has been responsible for the deployment of over 2000 sites in the Baltimore/Washington market. This responsibility included managing all aspects of site deployment. This included construction, site acquisition, switch engineering, logistics management and field operations. As a hands on Program Leader, John was also responsible for technology evolution of the wireless networks – starting his career deploying analog sites, which evolved to GSM, to TDMA, to LTE and to 5G. His involvement in network design and engineering has been instrumental in the customer growth in one of the top 10 markets in the United States. John has held many leadership positions with the largest wireless carriers during his career, prior to starting his own construction management company in 2006. In 2009, John merged his busines with Wi-Finity, Inc. John’s expertise has allowed Wi-finity to broaden it’s expertise across many telecommunications sectors including wireless, fixed wireless, 5G and fiber/broadband deployments.

Travis Potter has a diverse range of experience in telecommunications including both Wireless and Fiber Deployments. This experience includes Logistics, Field Engineering and Construction Management. Travis leads Wi-Finity’s Field Services Team and is responsible for all field related activities. This includes Safety and Compliance, Logistics and Scheduling, Training and Daily/Weekly production and Quality Control of all Field Services deliverables.

Daisy Prasad excels with site acquisitions, project management and back office for field surveys. Along with her technical skills, Daisy brings years of sales and customer service to our growing team. Her commitment to excellence is key to ensuring every client has the best experience from start to finish.
